Urgent Care Visits

When your pet needs to be seen quickly but isn't in critical condition, our urgent care visits bridge the gap between routine appointments and emergency care. We assess your pet's symptoms, perform necessary diagnostics, and develop a treatment plan tailored to their specific concern, all in a single visit whenever possible.

Sick Pet Exams

Sudden vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite, or other unexplained symptoms can be unsettling for any pet parent. Our team performs thorough sick pet exams to identify the underlying cause of your pet's discomfort, using physical examination, lab work, and diagnostic imaging as needed to get to the root of the problem.

Injury Care for Minor Wounds and Limping

Cuts, scrapes, bite wounds, soft tissue injuries, and sudden lameness are some of the most common reasons pet parents bring their animals in for urgent care. We clean and treat wounds, manage pain, prescribe antibiotics when necessary, and evaluate limping pets to determine whether the issue is muscular, skeletal, or related to something else entirely.

Trauma Care for Accidents and Falls

Pets that have been hit by a car, fallen from a height, been in an altercation with another animal, or experienced any other traumatic event need prompt evaluation, even if they appear stable on the outside. Internal injuries aren't always immediately visible, and early intervention can make a significant difference in recovery outcomes.

Poisoning and Toxin Exposure Treatment

If your pet has eaten something they shouldn't have, whether that's a household plant, human medication, chocolate, antifreeze, rodenticide, or another harmful substance, time is critical. Our team can induce vomiting when appropriate, administer activated charcoal, provide IV fluids, and offer supportive care to minimize the toxin's impact on your pet's system.

Critical Care and Stabilization

For pets arriving in serious condition, we provide stabilization services including IV fluid therapy, oxygen support, pain management, and close monitoring. When a case exceeds what we can safely manage in our hospital, we'll stabilize your pet for transfer to a 24-hour emergency facility and coordinate that handoff directly with the receiving team.

Same-Day and Next-Day Appointments

When your regular vet is fully booked or unavailable, you don't have to wait days for your pet to be seen. We reserve appointment slots specifically for urgent same-day and next-day visits so pets with new or worsening symptoms can be evaluated promptly.

Walk-In Availability

We offer walk-in urgent care Monday through Friday, 7:45–11:00 AM. No appointment or call ahead needed, just bring your pet in during those hours and our team will be ready to help. We also welcome routine visits for wellness exams and vaccinations during walk-in hours.

  • Keep your pet calm and secure during transport — use a carrier for cats and small dogs, and a leash for larger dogs
