Urgent Veterinary Care Close to Home
When your pet is sick, hurt, or just not acting like themselves, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Warsaw Animal Hospital offers urgent care for dogs, cats, and other companion animals across Eastern North Carolina. Our team is equipped to handle same-day concerns ranging from minor injuries to more serious illnesses, helping your pet get the care they need without the delay.
When to Seek Urgent Veterinary Care
Urgent care falls between a routine wellness visit and a life-threatening emergency. If your pet is showing concerning symptoms that can't wait for a scheduled appointment but isn't in immediate critical danger, our team is here to help. Common situations we treat include:
- Pet not eating, vomiting, or experiencing diarrhea
- Sudden limping or difficulty walking
- Minor cuts, wounds, or bite injuries
- Eye irritation, redness, or discharge
- Ear infections and skin irritations
- Suspected ingestion of toxic substances or foreign objects
- Allergic reactions, hives, or facial swelling
- Sudden lethargy or changes in behavior
- Urinary issues or straining
- Respiratory concerns such as coughing or wheezing
- Minor to major injuries that need same-day attention
If you're unsure whether your pet's condition qualifies as urgent, call us. Our team can help you assess the situation over the phone and determine the right next step.
